Your paper receipt will list all items charged to your card, and their due dates.

Renewals

Renewals can be made in person, by telephone or over the web.  Books, audio books, music and DVDs can be renewed 2 times if the item has not been placed on HOLD by another patron. To renew over the telephone, call us at 706-965-3600 and tell us your PINES card number and the items that you want to renew. To renew your items in person bring your PINES card to the Library.

To renew over the web, on our website, click on the PINES logo.  You will need a pin number, which can only be given out in person when you visit the Library.  Click on “My Account” and enter your username (your 14 digit library card number) and password (4 digit pin).  After logging in for the first time, you can change your password, and username.

PINES (Public Information Network for Electronic Services) is the public lending and automation network for more than 275 libraries and affiliated service outlets in almost 140 counties.  PINES creates a statewide “borderless library” that provides equal access to information for all Georgians.  Georgians with a PINES library card have access to materials beyond what is available on their local shelves, and enjoy the benefits of a shared collection of 9.6 million books that can be delivered to their local home library free of charge.
