We are so glad you’re interested in joining us!
The Teen Advisory Board is a forum specifically for high school teens where they can have their opinions and suggestions heard as well as influence the direction of the YA program.
This is your opportunity to have your voice heard! Do you have an idea for something you’d like to do? Let us know! Are there books or graphic novels you think we need to add to the YA collection? Make a materials suggestion. Curious about what we have going on? Feel free to join us online and find out.
We will meet for an hour once a month to discuss current programs, volunteer opportunities, to work on projects, and brainstorm ideas for the future.
Beginning in September 2021, everyone must fill out an application to join TAB, even past members. To receive volunteer hours for TAB participation, you have to be an official volunteer of the library. To become a volunteer, you must be at least 16 years of age and complete an application and a background check.
Fall meeting dates:
September 25th @ 1:00PM-3:00PM
October 23rd @ 1:00PM-3:00PM
Please email Katie Boren, the YA Programming Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
