Borrowing Details

Loan Periods

Loan periods vary with the type of material. Most library materials, especially books, may be checked out for two weeks. Some materials have a loan period of one week.

Please refer to the due date on the receipt or check your account for the due date. Most items can be renewed up to two times unless they have a hold placed on them.

Fines

As of July 2024, we no longer charge late fines for the majority of our locally owned items. Overdue fines will still apply for items owned by other libraries, video games, Launchpads, Chromebooks, cake pans, and partnership passes. A fine of $.20 per day applies to most library materials, but fines for passes and other libraries' materials may vary.

If you do not return your item within 90 days of the due date, your account will be charged for the replacement cost of the item.

Borrowing privileges will be denied if you have fines of $10.00 or more.
