Unearth a Story Summer Reading Challenge - May 31 until August 1
This summer, adventure begins at your library! To complete this challenge and be entered to win a prize, you will need to read for 600 minutes, or about 15 minutes a day. All reading done between June 1 and July 31 counts! Bring your completion badge to the library through August 1 to be entered for a chance to win a prize of your choice! Participants will not be automatically entered into a raffle.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten - Ongoing
This program is a fun and easy way to help your child develop pre-reading skills vital to kindergarten readiness. Georgia libraries are part of this initiative to encourage parents to read 1,000 books with their children before age 5. This challenge is available all year long and must be completed before your child begins Kindergarten.
Georgia Reads for America 250 - March 3 until December 31
Celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary with the Georgia Reads for America250! Read at least one book from the curated reading list, and do at least one activity from each of the historical categories to complete the challenge. Read. Log. Celebrate. Make your mark on history!
