Summer Reading Challenge 2025
June 14 - July 26

Have questions about our Summer Reading Challenge? Get your answers here! Look below for all the information you need to get the most out of your reading challenge this summer.

Getting Started

We are offering two ways to participate in our challenges this year again. We want you to join us this summer in whichever way works best for you! Even if you miss the Kick Off Party on Saturday, June 14, you will still be able to join in on the fun all summer long.

Registration

You can track your challenges online with Beanstack, stop by the library to pick up a paper version, or print your own log. If you'd like to go the paper route, don't forget to sign up online using the link below. If you choose to use Beanstack, be sure to check out our Beanstack page for tips and tricks to help you easily track all year round.

Age Groups

Not sure which age group to sign up for? No problem! See our chart below! Our challenges are available for all abilities as well. If you would like to adapt a challenge, please sign up for our paper option and request or print the challenge that best suits your ability.

Birth - 5 Years Old

We believe that you are never too young to start reading! All readers must read for 600 minutes. Books read during the summer also count toward our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Reading Challenge. Don't forget to log the titles in both challenges! Parents can also count the time spent reading with their kids in their own reading challenge, so make sure to keep track of how long you read together.

Completion

To complete this challenge, you must read for a total of 600 minutes.

Prizes

All participants who complete the challenge will earn one free book from the Friends of the Library and one raffle entry. Once you complete your challenge, you must come to the library to receive your raffle ticket and choose which raffle you would like to enter. No tickets will be given out after Saturday, July 26. Participants will not be automatically entered into a raffle.
